FFA Cup - Round 5 Ponds FC vs Marconi Stallions

We would like to invite you along this Wednesday night our Premier League side plays our biggest match in the club’s short history. Jonas Bradley Reserve will play host to National Premier League powerhouse, Marconi Stallions, in a round 5 FFA Cup Blockbuster!

We will be playing a side who is 4 levels above us, but can we create another “cupset”?

Marconi Stallions, a club founded in 1958 play in Football NSW’s highest division. Marconi played in the NSL (National Soccer League), which is now known as the A-League, and they were a force to be reckoned with, winning 4 Championships!

Their current squad includes former A-League players such as, Marko Jesic, Mitch Malia and Marjian Pavlovic to name a few, along with many Joeys (Socceroos Youth).

This is where you come into it!!! You see what a task the boys will be up against, but we are an 800 member strong club, and we want to pack out the oval to get our boys over the line.
